يعة بن كعب بن مالك الأسلمي أبو فراس المدني صحابي من أهل الصفة ومنهم من فرق بين ربيعة وأبي فراس الأسلمي مات ربيعة سنة ثلاث وستين بعد الحرة بخ م ٤

رَوَى عَن: عمرو بن الحمق الخزاعي (س ق) .
رَوَى عَنه: إسماعيل بن عبد الرحمن السدي، وأبو بشر بيان بن بشر البجلي، وعبد الملك بن عمير (س ق) ، وكثير النواء، وأبو حريز قاضي سجستان، وأبو عكاشة الهمداني.
قال النسائي: ثقة.
وذكره ابن حبان في كتاب "الثقات"، وقال (٣) : كنيته أبو عاصم،
